From Your Director of Missions:
We had a wonderful semi-annual meeting at Mt Paran recently. They were wonderful host and prepared a great meal for us. Thank you to Bro. Ed and Mt Paran Baptist Church.
Our meeting focused not only on what has been accomplished in our association these first 6 months, but also the opportunity of “taking the Church to the people” in a new way through the starting of new churches. We presently have three starts in progress and desire to see many more. Across our convention and in our state, we are finding that starting new churches provides the avenue for reaching the lost in our community.
Many lost people will not come to our church, but they will come to a “new” church. Churches within our association are partnering with each other in starting these new works. The heart of God is all about reaching the lost in our communities. This must become our heart as we reach out to love and bless our community.
